Sunny Sunday #4 – Sunny Bunnies

Rabbit, Rabbit! It’s a twofer day.

“Depend on the rabbit’s foot if you will, but remember it didn’t work for the rabbit.” – R.E. Shay

“Most of the shadows of this life are caused by standing in one’s own sunshine.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

(I wanted to lay this outside on top of the Fall leaves but it has been raining for nine days now so the ground was too wet.)

A saying for those of us participating in NaNoWriMo:

“For a long time now I have tried simply to write the best I can. Sometimes I have good luck and write better than I can.” – Ernest Hemingway

Today is the first day of NaNoWriMo 2009.

Target word count today: 1,667 words.

My novel this year will be called “Up From There.”

It will have ten main characters: vampire, grave digger, dragon, ghost, vampire slayer, unwilling blood donor, two witches, an owl and a snake.

I decided it will be a reality piece.

My user name is goldennib.

If you are doing NaNo too, look me up so we can be NaNo Buddies.

For novels completed in previous years, as they came off of my fingertips:

My 2006 Novel – Happenstance

My 2007 Novel – Ancestral Head

My 2008 Novel – Ranee’s Revenge

  1. Beautiful pic, like a Mayan calendar.
I once heard that Hemingway wrote 5000 wds/day, but threw away 3000 every night. That would make NaNoWriMo even more of a challenge, I guess.

  2. Wow, those bunnies are exquisite, sorry it’s so wet there. We’re still damp from the last time but Halloween was gorgeous and the munchkin scored lots of candy.

You are my NaNo hero, maybe you will inspire me to finish this year.
