(I wanted to lay this outside on top of the Fall leaves but it has been raining for nine days now so the ground was too wet.)

Today is the first day of NaNoWriMo 2009.
Target word count today: 1,667 words.
My novel this year will be called “Up From There.”
It will have ten main characters: vampire, grave digger, dragon, ghost, vampire slayer, unwilling blood donor, two witches, an owl and a snake.
I decided it will be a reality piece.

I once heard that Hemingway wrote 5000 wds/day, but threw away 3000 every night. That would make NaNoWriMo even more of a challenge, I guess.

Wow, those bunnies are exquisite, sorry it’s so wet there. We’re still damp from the last time but Halloween was gorgeous and the munchkin scored lots of candy.
