others transform a yellow spot into the sun.

  1. Oh my goodness…what a bright, wonderful piece of art work. And the quotation is perfect.

    Loved this post.

Thanks for the visit and kind comment!! You made my day fill with SUNSHINE.

  2. Nessa, I remember with fondness creating crayon shaving images in Kindergarten ~ once we scattered the shaving on our paper, our teacher would iron over it. I can still hear the oooh’s and ahhhh’s of the classroom as each child’s work was unfolded. I still have one.

Who would’ve thunk that such a gorgeous image that you have created would bring back such a joyous memory for me. Thank you. And thank you for the perfect Picasso quote that you have to further illustrate the beauty of your work.

PS Thank you for visiting my Thanksgiving Walk post today. In it I was also reminded of days gone by.

  3. That is neat, Nessa. Really pretty. ๐Ÿ™‚
I could shave the crayons and even melt them
on the glass. But it wouldn’t look out pretty.

I might reinvent modern Abstract Expressionism
    with mine.

  4. Delightful Sunday Citar! Love these! I hope that you have a wonderful week. Mine will be hectic at work, and then we’re hitting the road for 10 days. So I’m racing, literally, trying to get things done. But had to come by and visit. ?

  5. That was a beautiful quote and picture. I love them! Its so true and awe-inspiring how brilliant artists mirror or shadow the essence of reality. Its truly incredible.

    Great Sunday Citar!

  6. Wow Nessa…this is going to make some lovely Christmas present. It reminds me of the Impressionists, somehow – an intensity of colour and light.

  7. Is this your painting? It is absolutely stunning, very lovely! Love the colours and the overall feel.;) Thank you for your daily visits to my place, they make my day.;) xo Zuzana
