I got the day (night – morning) for the New Moon premier wrong.
It’s 00:01 on Friday.
I’ll let you know Saturday how it was (if I ever really go see the movie.)
Hmmm, I’ll try but it won’t be easy. My 55 is HERE.
I was supposed to go tomorrow but plans changed and I won’t make it. Alas. If you do go, have a bit of popcorn for me.

Mar! You are really FUNNY! I was so shocked by your ‘diss’ of someone else’s post that I had to go to YOUR blog. You wrote something along the lines of “comments are the new hug”. And I was thinking – well, that certainly wasn’t a hug! Then I saw that you criticized/edited/corrected yourself! And I had to laugh! I certainly capture a very funny, nice personality. Love your bird of paradise, too.
Take time off from reading other blogs. I expect we’ll still read yours daily.
ROFLMBO! How MANY times I’ve wished my friends would follow those rules! I’ll tell ya what! Just READ the first 50 words of my post. Or the LAST 50! Or ANY 50 of your choosing! LOL!
I am only putting up one post for the week so I am going to double my word count in that post. I agree with what Melli said – reading almost any 50 of my post would be enough since I do not post pictures.
I’m so FREAKING excited about New Moon. I can’t wait to read your review. 55 words ey? I’ve never counted my words, but I can try.

Tsk. Sorry, Nessa, but you know I do things the way I do them. I know it’s a lot, with three on Friday and two the rest of the time, but you don’t have to comment on everything. Just visiting Suzie’s House is enough to give you a special place in my heart.
I am one wordy lady. I can’t possibly stop at 55 words in one post. That’s just not my style. And for me personally, the more that is blogged, the more I enjoy —in EACH one I visit.

Hi Nessa. Basically I’m doing all that while I fall back and get my act together again after having everything torn up for the new flooring here.
I am also getting ready for my ‘big fourth’ year end post complete with evaluations. AND (right now) I am not thinking of starting another new blog. Eleven–only three very active at all–and a MySpace is enough.
Oh yes, and commenting on your DAILY posts.

Forgot to tell you that ‘New Moon‘ has opened year already. Almost all over town. At all twelve Cinemark Theatres, the eight AMC’s, the three Movie Taverns, two for the Edwards, Landmarks, and Studios, and in most all of the independents.
Note from a reviewer’s advisory: Strong language, peril, mild viololence and seenes of a guy falling apart every time he kisses Kristen Stewart. She gave it TWO STARS (??)
I will like Sandra Bullock in ‘The Blind Side‘ better is my guess, maybe even ‘Pirate Radio‘ (don’t like its R-rating) since I am into radio as a hobby.

Hi Nessa! I love playing by the G-Man’s rules; It really helps my ‘writing’ because it is so important to self-edit and take out the unnecessary stuff. Even the parts we think are brilliant, sometimes they have to go to make the 55 move along and make it a more compelling read. I LOVE your comments – you’re in my Top Two of comment peeps. Intelligent and you add so much. Maybe you can do a photo Wednesday or 50-Wednesday? You’re a TALENT. Maybe visit less blogs so you can really absorb the 55’s instead of feeling like it’s too many words? Lots of love, Bubs.

LOL – well, I can try to do all that, but I know I’m gonna fail because I have a blog tour organized to promote Soldier of Fortune, and I’m all over the place. Um…do we get punished for misbehaving???
Just a note: check out tvtropes.org when you have a moment and are writing a story. It’s nice to have bookmarked when you need ideas. Better than an English or Writing course but don’t spend too much time there. Just get an idea and go with it.
How about “play more memes?” I just posted my version of the one on 9 truths and one lie that I saw here earlier in the week.

Ha! Good luck with getting people to change their blogging style! The best you can do is alter your reading style – I don’t read super-long possts myslef – too much work and time invoved (although my cut-off is much higher than 55 words).
I’m cool with most of those rules…but not all.
So who’s got the job of blog rule police? LOL
Ok, I guess for me it won’t be much posting anyway, since I will be super busy!
