Flash 55 – Love

Posted on 04. Dec, 2009 by in Writing

Tell me a story.

I can not lie.

Then, tell me a true story.

I love you with all my heart.

Is that the whole story?

Do you need more than that?

No.

Good, because that is the beginning and the middle and the end for me.

I like a story with a happy ending.

I have an unpublished manuscript of children’s nursery rhymes that starts: Tell me a story … of things that smell lovely … Jasmine, patchouli … I love you truly.
