Susan at Stony River hosts Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters…or even fewer.
This week’s picture as inspiration and my story to go with it:
I’m going to hang up now.
It’s amazing what telemarketers will say
to get you to buy their product.
The Source of Overeating? at Esoteric Uncovered

ROFLMAO!! I can so picture that being done. So creative and funny. Loved it.
Thanks Thom. Those telemarketers are bloodthirsty.
Since my wife has had a stroke, she cannot speak but only grunts and groans like the Frankenstein monster, so I let her screen the calls; if it is important, they ask to talk to me, otherwise they hang up.
Tom: Very practical.
Neatly done! Telemarketers, cold callers, ANYone trying to part me from my husband’s hard-earned money (I’ve spent mine;-)) drives me insane.
That’s funny. What were they selling, I wonder.
Argh, that is a huge dislike of mine. HUGE.
teehee. a fun one!
Oooooo, good one!
Telemarketers too, they had all the problems back in the day that we have now!
Great idea, I can picture this scene in my had!
those pesky telemarketers!
lol, great story!
I love it!! And I can just picture it, too! What a great story for the day!!
Hope you have a great day, Nessa!

Those telemarketers will say anything to promote their product.
If only we could bill them for our time… LOL. Telemarketing is the *worst*!
Back then I imagine you could’ve threatened them with the police and the eavesdropping operator would’ve dialed for you.
This was fun.
Very nice take on the picture! I enjoyed it immensely – those vile telemarketers.
LOL! Did they HAVE telemarketers back in the days of those phones? I remember the Fuhler Brush Man!
I just pretend to be a very confused Chinese restaurant!
