Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, when combined, make a love charm.
Plant rosemary by your homeβs entrance.
As you walk by it, brush your hands or legs against the branches
and needle-like leaves for a fragrant, refreshing aroma in any season.

Beautiful photo my friend. π I love it and thanks for the information. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours π
I always put parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme in my chicken soup. Is that why Amoeba loves me? Oh hey, is that why I think I’m all that?!
We had Rosemary by our backdoor in Kuli’ou’ou and I often brushed against it for “air” freshener!
so what exactly is this love potion supposed to do? have a wonderful valentines…
OK, that’s a weird suggestion even for witchery, but I do have a rosemary bush in my backyard. Thanks for letting us know of Red’s birthday.
I will try this. Sounds lovely.
I would have been named Rosemary had I been born female.
Happy v-day nessa.

Nessa, now I want some by my front door! What a wonderful idea. Even if it isn’t true the power of suggestion has me hooked π Thanks for stopping by! Gung Hay Fat Choy!
I can’t wait to have my own door to plant rosemary near. This moving back home thing is a doozy! I’m constantly planning and plotting what’s going to be what in my new place, so thanks for the tip!
You rock, Ness!
Living in love everyday makes you a wonderful person too (referring to your comment in another blog).
I put all four seasonings in my soup all the time. Does that mean I’ve been brewing a love potion? Too bad I’m the only one eating it.
I love rosemary! Hubby doesn’t so much so I hang dried bouquet around and slip it into his food occasionally. Sage is great for head colds, I burn it with a bit of lavender in a bowl. And yes… I use all in soups and cooking.
Very nice reflection. Great catch! Those are really big herbs.
What a beautiful image and poetic combination. I love to play with Rosemary leaves too. π
I love rosemary. I have always had it in my yard and when walking my dog, will brush my hand through rosemary bushes along the route and inhale deeply. Great post. I can smell it.
Now if we can find our lovely plants beneath all this snow.
Parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme
they sound like a nusery rhyme
and leave you smelling good or bad
for sure you get the stink they had
..

Beautiful shot! Thanks for the information. Have a wonderful week π .
Happy birthday to Tom’s wife!
There is nothing better than fresh herbs from the garden. I like lavendar too. That always smells nice when you walk past or brush against it.
Sounds like an easy recipe. π
