I’ve adjusted my feed. I’m thinking about adjusting myself right out of existence. Nobody reads what I write any more. :0(
If this is a list of egregious examples of business speak, then here are my personal favourites:
“debottlenecking”, “paradigmizing”
Of course, as an “employee commmunications” practitioner, I’m one of the worst offenders. I’ve actually slipped the following one in on several occasions and nobody noticed the meaninglessness of it (not that I expected anyone to to notice):
“We are committed to continue to focus…”
This all reminds me of the Dilbert cartoon of the management consultant so smart he has to carry a spare brain strapped to his abdomen to cater for situations in which additional thinking power is required.
